His parents were Mary Lee Cope and Charle Andy Cope.
Roger enjoyed fishing playing bingo and watching western movies. He loved his cats Hallie and Greta.He retired from the Port of Houston Authority after 28 years. He was an electrician.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years Danitza Cope, sons Micheal and wife Pamela, Ricky and wife Daphne., stepson Mido and wife Llisel., three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, seven siblings and oldest son Roger Cope Junior.
