Hi there son.  I've been in Lake Park for a couple of weeks with your wonderful family of friends.  I've been around them long enough I can almost call you Leo and Lumpy.  You truly had good friends as you said and they have been truly friendly and caring to me.  As you know you will always be in my heart.  Mother (Mama Leo)

"Trick or Treat," no matter what time of year that was always Leo's answer to a knock at the door. Spend many nights watching the Flintstones at Leo's. And never once in all these years did he take out Christmas picture off the fridge. Leo will be missed greatly by many. Happy Birthday Leo

We will really miss Leo alot, he was always ready to sit down and visit.  He made time for people and help them when he could. My girls will always remember him he named them Fred, Barney and Dino, he would always stop in and give them a bad time and they loved it.  Leo will be missed in so many ways he was a special person.  You should be very proud of him.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Leo you will be missed by all, all of your Leoism's and Leo logic will be thought about with fond memories.  You were part of our family at Giere Trucking Inc for many years.  God must have need a driver that could deliver his loads on time because you never missed a unload time.  I don't think you ever knew how much you affect peoples lives.  You had alot of friends and family that just will not be right without you.  Love you Leo

LEO (WE NEVER CALLED HIM RON) WAS A PART OF OUR FAMILY.  HE SHARED IN THE GOOD AND BAD TIMES AND WAS A LOYAL FRIEND.  HE SHOPPED ALL YEAR FOR REALLY DIFFERENT GIFTS AND WE ALWAYS HAD SO MUCH FUN WHEN WE OPENED THEM.  WE WILL MISS HIM BUT WILL CHERISH THE MEMORIES.

I did not much opportunity to get to know Ron - our careers took us in opposite directions.  The few times I did get to see him were usually filled with stories, smiles, and laughter.  There were a lot of things he said, and the mannerisms he displyed that made me think, "Wow, he is kind of like me!"  It was nice that after several years of not seeing him, the phone could ring, and he was in town on a job.  We always met him somewhere and had dinner.  If it was convienent for him, we came back to our place and would hang out for a while. Even though I didn't see him often, I will miss having him around.
