Ronald Keith Kelly, known affectionately by friends and family as Ron, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2019 at the age of 79 in The Woodlands, Texas. Born in San Antonio, Texas, he was an outgoing, loving man who adored his large, close-knit family. Born to Arthur and Margaret Kelly on May 6, 1940, Ron was a devout Christian who worshipped at Spring Baptist Church for decades. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and he was a talented jet mechanic in the United States Air Force. Ron was retired, but he owned multiple businesses throughout his working life. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Margaret; his two sisters, Barbara and Beverly and his daughter, Lisa. He is survived by his loving wife, Patsy of 60 years, his sons, Ronald. Jr (Keith) and his wife, Sandy and his son, Scott Kelly. Ron also has eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly. Visitation will be held Thursday evening September 5, 2019 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. Funeral services with military honors will be held Friday, September 6, 2019 at 2:00pm at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home with burial following at Earthman Resthaven.

Serving as pallbearers will be Sean Andrews, Dennis Andrews, Ryan Kelly, Justin Spears, James Gower, Bobby Williamson, Michael Shepherd and Maston Van Atten.

I remember when we made a video you had no idea what was going on on Bent Bough Drive, we jumped out of the car and ran toward you you had no clue what was going on! You went along with it and the video ended up very funny. I regret not being able to come there but you are in my thoughts and prayers as well as your family. I will miss everyone wish I was there. I am blessed to have many fond memories of my uncle Ronald. His kindness, love of family, thoughtful counsel, faith in God, and wonderful sense of humor were just a few of his many wonderful qualities that I will miss. I am grateful that I was able to spend more time with him the past few years. My heart felt condolences and prayers for his family and friends. We will see you again in heaven.
