My condolences to the entire family. Uncle Ron always treated us very well. I enjoyed talking with him. I'll never forget when, as a child, my family went down to Texas to visit. We stayed with Uncle Ron and Aunt Sis. We went out to dinner but the restaurant wasn't open yet so the four adults went for a walk to look at the architecture while the kids stayed in the car. The adults returned a short time later and the men were in a huff because my Dad and Uncle Ron were propositioned by some men.  My Mom and Aunt Sis were both laughing . I don't remember if we stayed for dinner.  LOL! 
Thank you Uncle Ron for being a great Uncle and for regularly checking in on my mom. May you REST IN PEACE

What an amazing person and what a remarkable life. We feel so blessed that we got to know Mr. Ron & Lydia as neighbors & friends.

He was like a grandfather to these 4 now grown adults!

When we moved to TX in '81 we knew nobody.  Ron and Virginia were our first neighbors we met  in our Kingwood house.  They took me and my then husband under there wing and treated us like one of there own children.  They saw my 4 children grow up across the street from them and were a big party of our family! We'd share holidays with them and they were always there when I need advice or help.  
Ron, I loved it when you'd come see us in the country... You said you loved the quiet and beautiful drive coming up. 
You don't know how I'm gonna miss talking to you (in your deep radio voice, you'd say "HELLO JOANN") or the occasional visit back to our old Kingwood neighborhood!  

I've said to you every time before we'd hand up from our phones calls or visits and I'll say it again..
From my whole heart ❤️ I LOVE YOU!
