Rosa was a wonderful wife,mother,grandmother and aunt. She passed away peacefully on November 8 , 2025 three days before her 90th birthday.She was a wonderful person to everyone she knew and those that knew her.When she was able she loved to sew and knit.
Rosa was survived by her daughter Mayra N. Gonzalez,grandchildren ; Chris Gonzalez,Carlos Tijerina,Jr.,Crystal Gonzalez, Nevaeh Reyes, Juan Popoca,Rosa Gonzalez and David Gonzalez.She also leaves behind 8 great grandkids.
Rosa helped everyone she could and always had a beautiful smile.She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A visitation will be held at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, located at 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023, on Friday November 14, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
The funeral service will take place at the same venue on Saturday November 15, 2025, at 1:00 pm, followed by a committal service at 2:00 pm at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery .
