

Rosalind was born on August 2, 1945, to the parents of Rev. Altaha Augusta and Emma Pope Hebert. She was affectionately known as "Rose." Rose accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and Lord in her early years and was filled with the Holy Ghost in her 11th grade year of high school (1961) under Elder Daniel and Mother Lewis. She was the first of the Hebert siblings to be filled with the Holy Ghost. Her elementary school years was spent at Blackshear Elementary School. Her high school years was spent at Carverdale High School in the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District where she graduated with her class of "1962." Her high school activities included band, choir, and basketball. She also had a love for chemistry in high school. She went on to Texas Southern University earning a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (B.S.) Class of 1968. She married Mr. Andrew Byrd. In this union her one and only child was born, Andrea Christina. In August 2014, she enrolled and registered in with the Kingdom Builders Bible Seminary. Her desire was "that this study would be a tool to better equip her to do her part in Kingdom Work and Kingdom Building." She earned a Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.), Kingdom Builders Bible Seminary – 2014; Master of Arts in ministry (M. Min.) Kingdom Builders Bible Seminary 00 2015; Doctorate of Arts in Divinity (D.D.) Kingdom Builders Bible Seminary – 2016. She was ordained and licensed as an "evangelist" May 17, 2016 – Kingdom Builders Bible Seminary, "Accredited under the World Council of Postsecondary and Religious Education." She was a pharmacist for 48 years and was currently practicing in Community and Hospital disciplines. She was currently engaged in Prison Outreach Ministry, "The Naomi House Project," providing transitional housing, counseling and guidance for ex-female offenders, under the direction of Randy and Michelle Harden. She was a loyal and faithful tithe paying, and praying member of Christ Temple Apostolic Church (CTAC), where the District Elder David Allen, Jr., is the Pastor. She leaves to mourn her "Homegoing" her only daughter, Mrs. Andrea C. Byrd; 3 granddaughters, Destini, Cydney, and Aaliyah, one grandson, August (Gus); 6 sisters, Prophetess Dr. Barbara Hebert, Dr. Patricia Anderson, Dr. Marilyn Adams, Mrs. Barbara Ann Dearman, Ms. Martha AnDarlene Felt, and Mrs. Regina Banks (Ivory); 2 brothers, Dr. Victor E. Hebert, Sr., and Dr. John Michael Hebert; 31 nieces and nephews, 48 great-nieces and nephews; and a host of colleagues, dear friends, mentored people, and her church family.
