Rosie volunteered as both a Boy and Girl Scout leader, election judge, and was a Sunday School teacher at Cypress United Methodist Church.
She was a supporter of the arts and the Houston Sports teams. Rose began her career as a certified x-ray technician and retired an attorney. She was extremely well traveled and one of a kind.
Along with an extensive extended family and many friends, Rose is survived by her husband Joe, her two children Dan Ulrich, Lara Clayton and Lara’s husband, Robert.
Funeral services will be held graveside 10 a.m. Friday, April 30th, followed by the burial at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, Texas, 77023.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in honor of Rose to PBS, Planned Parenthood, The League of Women Voters, Stages, or the Alley Theater.
