Rose Ann Lauer

Andrew and Martha Slike welcomed their daughter Rose Ann into the world on June 2, 1931, in Shippenville PA.

Rose Ann met her lifelong companion and husband, Ronald Lauer. In 1950, the happy couple moved from Pennsylvania to Houston Texas where they soon started their beautiful family and life together. Rose Ann had worked as Vice President of First City National Bank until her retirement.

She is preceded in death by parents, Andrew and Martha Slike; loving husband of 53 years, Ronald Lauer; son, Wilbur "Buddy" Lauer; brothers, John, Irvin, Andrew and infant Edward Slike; sisters, Edna Zachrel, Lois Halm, Mary Grace Bensur, Lucille Lutz, Marguerite Piper and Elaine Neal.

Rose Ann is survived by her daughter, Roney Ann Reynosa; grandchildren, Tiffany Lauer, Jonathan Lauer, Shawn Lauer, Rachel Creswell; great grandchildren, Brianne Creswell, Liam Lauer, Eliana Lauer and Elaina Lauer; sisters, Genevieve Selker and Vicky Ferringer; daughter-in-law, Thelma Lauer and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Maria and Angel for the loving care they gave to our mother and grandmother.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00pm, December 4, 2024 at St. Matthias Catholic Church, Magnolia Texas. The Rosary will be held before mass at 11:30am.
