

Rosie H. Adams was born September 12, 1932 in Shiro, Texas. She was the fourth child of five siblings born to Lester and Narcissus Holiday. Rosie's parents had two sons Cornell and Lester and two daughters Novella and Marcell. She also had three half sisters Narvis, Rosie May and Annie Sue. Rosie and her parents left Shiro, Texas and moved to Madisonville, Texas at an early age. There she attended school in Madisonville, Texas. Rosie joined church at an early age, Antioch Church of Christ, in Midway, Texas. In April 1948, as a young lady, she married Alphonso Adams. Three children were born to union Alphonso Jr., Ruby and Linda. For many years Rosie worked as a private duty Nurse for several families in the Houston area. Rosie loved serving God and spending time with her family, and traveling around the country. She was a loving dear sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Rosie is preceded in death by her husband Alphonso Adams, Sr. and daughter Linda Davis. Rosie left to cherish her precious memories her son Alphonso Adams, Jr.; daughter Ruby Broughton; daughter-in-law Barbara Adams; grandchildren Byron Adams, Andrea Adams, LaTeef Glivens; great grandchildren Byron Adams, Jr., Jasmine Glivens, Aidan White; sister Novella Foster and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
