Roy was a loving, caring, giving person who would help everyone he knew. It was never a time that Roy didn't have a smile on his face. He loved his family and we loved him. Roy was having the best time of his life when he was in the kitchen cooking. We all know how he would just take over because he said we weren't doing it right. We will miss our angel here on earth but he's gone home to rest where his battle with cancer is over. Roy departed this life on November 4, 2017. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ophelia Hardeman; grandfather, Thomas Hardeman; brothers, Jim Edward Young and Robert Campbell Jr., and his aunts and uncles. Roy leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Jessie Mae Hearne, step-father, Willie Charles Hearne; two brothers, Dexter Charles Hearne and Samuel Hearne (Shelley); two sisters, Debra Thompson and Cardella Wiseman (Chad) and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and dear friends
