Ruth is survived by her son, Roman Cisneros & wife, Jennifer Light ; father, Lorenzo Torres; brother, Anthony Joe Torres & wife Nina Torres. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel DeHoyos Ramos Jr. Ruth will be missed by her niece and nephews, all of her extended Torres Family, all of her extended Ramos Family and all of her extended Shell family, inclusive of The Sisters.
Our dear Ruth had a generous heart. She was a devoted daughter who truly valued family. She was a member of St. Joseph Church for many years. Ruth was a calm presence to those in her life, but with a swift roll of the eye, was also quick to bring about a smile. Ruthie loved the Astros and the Texans, especially Jose Altuve. As she was approaching 20 years with her Shell Family, she kept threatening retirement…to repeat the words of the priest who gave Ruth her Final Sacrament- she is enjoying the best retirement ever right now.
