Dearest Dora: How I would love to be with you, and hug and kiss you, and tell you again in person how much I love you and your children.  You and Sam have bee such a part of my life for so many years.  He remained a "good and faithful servant" to the end and has now gone home with the Lord, to his reward. He is now permanently healed and is happy, but it is not easy to know that he will no longer be physically present with you. Faith is our comfort as we grieve. Comfort comes in knowing death is not the end.  Those who die in Christ live eternally. May your faith in Christ's promises bring you peace.

On behalf of our family, we will miss "our" Sam. He was such a huge part of our lives growing up, so many memories. What a wonderful "guy", a quiet man with a tremendous personality that we will never forget. We feel our family has lost one of our own.  Every Easter, every 4th of July, how can we ever forget those fun trips when we got to ride in Sam's camper.

I am truly saddened to hear of Mr. Gonzales' passing.  I will always remember the good ole days seeing y'all with your husband/dad at Bethania and the other churches we frequented. I can almost hear him now singing in Heaven's choir of angels.
