Most of my memories of Sandy are from when we were younger. I didn't see her much as we got older. I do recall that she was always ready to try anything, whether it was right or wrong. She liked trying new things. We had a lot of fun in that back room at her Dad and Moms. We watched Dark Shadows on TV or sneaking out the window to go do something we shouldn't have been doing. I know as she got older she followed a harder road in life but I remember the good times. I know she had so much more love here than she ever knew but now we know that she's in God's hands and we know it's all good for her and no more bad.

Unfortunately I did not have the opportunity to spend very much time with Aunt Sandy.  But I do know that she led one hell of a life!! I will miss her crazy stories and seeing her get down and play with my kids! I know she is in a better place in heaven and is watching over us all! Sorry for your loss Mom and Eric!  We love you both very much!

Aunt Sandy was a one of a kind!  She taught me a deep respect for all life. I will always remember traveling old highways and taking the time to visit the old cemetery or state park. I will never forget the slug that she rescued when I covered it with salt or the time her car horn wouldn't turn off and she kept pounding the steering wheel to stop it. That's the Sandy I will always remember. We love you Eric and Mom. We are sorry for the loss.

My heartfelt condolences go out to the family of Ms. Griffith. May the GOD of all comfort provide you with whatever is needed so you can cope with your great loss. Also there will be a time when all causes of death and the grief it brings will be gone forever.

Such a beautiful lady. I am so sorry for your loss. I remember her from my Jr. High days. I remember she is the only person I ever almost got in a tussel with, and it was over a boy. Oh how dumb...he was a loser and neither one of us needed him, but we later worked it out and were friends. She really was sweet. Aunt Sandy will always be in my heart. She taught me things no one else would ever think of. When I was younger she would take me fishing and hiking. She loved animals and the outdoors. She did want she wanted to do and and never cared what people thought about her and for that I have alot of respect for her. She was very strong and never quit figting for her life. I will always love her and wish I could have told her that in person. I am thankful she was in my life. Jason

My sister,, she was headstrong, independent,loving and hardheaded . She always gave me a hard time growing up, I was the baby and she was always pushing me down, eventually  I learned to walk so all was forgiven. She was thirty years old when this photo was taken and she was beautiful. She always had the attitude of a twenty year old, unfortunately her body did not agree. I believe even though we had our differences though out the years, she loved me as I loved her. I will always miss her.  Linda
