Scott was the very first person to talk with us and welcome us to Hargrave Road when we built our home several years ago, and I could always count on him to smile and wave, or share a moment or two in conversation. We spoke about the state of the economy, the weather, or whatever else was going on, and he not only shared some fresh vegetables with us or offered firewood, if needed, but was always teasing me that I looked like I was having too much fun on the riding mower! I will miss his comical wit and commentary on the lack of a good postal service, as we joked several times, but most of all will miss his simple good nature....as a generous and friendly man. I will always think fondly of him and be grateful for having known him.
