Jeff was a graduate of the University of Texas in Austin. He was a chemist in the petroleum industry his entire career. Jeff adored his family; he especially cherished the time he got to spend with his grandsons.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Christine Micklitz Womack; his son, Mark Womack; grandsons, Cameron and Dillan Womack, as well as many dear friends.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Jeff's life during a visitation at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 30 at Waltrip Funeral Directors, 1415 Campbell Road in Houston, where funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by a reception.
A family committal service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3, at Brookside Memorial Park, also in Houston.
