He married Matilde Zamarron on April 20, 1964.
He had a passion for boxing and baseball.
He is survived by his wife Matilde Zamarron; children, Jaime Zamarron, Eliseo Zamarron, Leticia Zamarron, Maty Zamarron, Sara Aguillon, Mary Rodriguez, Griselda Zamarron; grandchildren, Jaime, Josue, Christopher, and Moises Zamaroon, Elexis and Natalie Zavala, Denise Gutierrez, Isabela Zavala, Louis Pitre, Jessica Gonzalez, Jasmine Zamarron, Vanessa Gutierrez, Rigoberto Rodriguez, Angie Benito, Devanira Martinez, Valerie Martinez, and Daniela Moncayo.
