Sergio E. Munoz (80) son of Daniel and Veneranda Munoz was born on June 4, 1933 in Cardenas, San Luis Potosí Mexico and due to complications as a result of a short battle with cancer, died on Friday April 25, 2014 in Houston, Texas. Married in Mexico City on May 1, 1962, he is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia D. Munoz. Shortly thereafter, the couple made their home in Houston. Sergio was the father of Daniel, married to Monica, John, married to Elaine, and Maria Elena, married to Troy Smith. He enjoyed playing and spending time with his grandchildren, Dillon, Conrad, Ava, Rachel, Henry, and Andrew. In prayer and remembrance for Sergio a wake will be held on Tuesday May 6, 2014 from 6:30pm - 8.00pm, and a church service will be held on Wednesday May 7, 2014 starting at 11am. Both events will take place at Braeswood Church located at 10611 Fondren Rd., Houston, Texas 77096.
