When I see your smiling face in photos, I get this instant hope until I remember... I had hoped to spend some quality time with you again...Before you left this world. I didn't get that opportunity but I know you know I cared all along and truly missed you. 
Of all people, I think you knew me more and STILL loved me through even the darkest of things. People don't find people like you just anywhere, and they're darn sure not as fortunate to have spent such a great season of their life with them. 
From the absolute bottom of my heart. Thank you. Thank you for all the times you picked me up, dusted me off, and pointed me back in the right direction. Thank you for always being honest and open, even if the truth was what I didn't want to hear. I will never find another friend like you, Shane. Thank you so much for loving me and being a light in this dark world. I will never forget you...but I WILL see you again.

Shane you were one hell of a cousin. My heart hurts to see that you're gone. The memories we made throughout life will be with me till we meet again. It still seems like a bad dream. My prayers go out to Rachael and family ! Shane was always so nice to me at work I felt like he was so concern if I showed any kind of stress on my face  Shane would stop and focus on me to make sure I was ok and what he could do  I still here shane in my head are you ok Gramma are you sure! The hug and advise will never leave my Brains and heart ! Shane was my favorite at work and will always have a place in my heart  Shane was my favorite as he always thought of you at work with nice words to me and I saw you two had the love my husband and I had ! I will always love you and Shane!

You were an original good fella from on old school crew. You always had my back. I will miss your laugh and outlook on life in general. This time we share on earth is for such a short period. I'm glad we had the times we did. VayaConDios old friend

Shane I can't believe your gone it seems like just yesterday we met and you introduced me to your hole in the wall bar yea you were late but even tho you weren't suppose to be driving you and kelly drove me home then you covered for me at work the next day you will be missed dearly and you better save me a seat at that bar in the sky

My deepest condolences to all. Shane had a great life, although life wasn't always great.  He smiled no matter what. Shane was my friend, my cousin, my confidant and my human punching bag (LOL) when we were kids/teenagers.  He dried my tears and did my chores at the ballpark when I looked at him with a sad face. He was always a sweetheart to me;  even though we got older, follow different paths, I made sure he knew I loved him and thought of him often. It's so awesome to see that he ment as much to everyone around him as he did to me. Shane, I love you lots and I'll check ya later! XOXOX
