

Sharon Pali passed away on June 30, 2023 at the age 77. She was born in Houston, Texas on February 12, 1946. Her parents were Edith and Jake Davis. She graduated from Spring Branch High School and lived most of her life in the Houston area.
In 1966, she married Julius Sandor Pali, and he was the love of her life. They were married for 55 years before he passed away in 2021. Sharon was inspired by the story of Florence Nightingale and was a nursing assistant for several years, but ultimately wanted to be a stay at home mom. She raised three daughters named Elizabeth Dawn, Rhonda Ann, and Reuberta Gayle. Sharon was always at her best when her family needed medical care and often knew our diagnosis before consulting with our doctors.
Sharon had a passion for cooking. Some of her favorite main dishes were beef stroganoff, enchilada casserole, gumbo, and salmon patties. Her most notable baked goods were holiday cake, carrot cake with cream cheese icing, sand tarts, and yellow cake with homemade chocolate icing which was our family favorite dessert for birthday celebrations.
Sharon loved dogs, music, Yahtzee, cards, dominoes, and ceramics. She trained German Shepherds and had many fur babies including Tina the Poodle, Tiki the Shih Tzu, Penny the Miniature Doberman Pinscher, and most beloved, Little Bit the Chihuahua. She enjoyed all types of music and favorite artists included Fats Domino, Elvis Presley, Conway Twitty, John Denver, Ray Price, Barbara Streisand, and Kris Kristofferson. She would often dance around the house, even after she became wheelchair bound.
Sharon is survived by her daughters Dawn Smith and husband Tony, Rhonda Sanders, and Reuberta Bitz and husband Mark; her grandchildren Lindsey Cromwell and husband Andrew, Christen Smith, Ashley McGullion and husband Rocky, Chanse Sanders and wife Jana, and Mackenzie Bitz; her brother Gordon Davis and his wife Carol; her nephew Darrell Davis; and many brother and sister-in laws along with their children and grandchildren.
A visitation for Sharon will be held Friday, July 28, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A funeral service will occur Friday, July 28, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A committal will occur Friday, July 28, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060.
