Born on February 2,1959 in Jefferson, Texas to Samuel & Mary Hellen Jarrett who proceeded her in death. She spent her childhood and teenage years in Jefferson, where she developed a passion for fishing.
Sharonda was a devoted wife to Ronald K. Whitaker, she cherished her husband who loved her unconditionally and supported her through thick and thin, they shared a deep love that will continue to endure.
A beloved mother to her three children, Shedric Jarrett, Naomi Jones and Larry Jones. In addition to her children, Sharonda is survived by her grandchildren, Tyrell Livingston, Mon’ye Williams, Adam Williams, Hope Williams, Gracie Morris, Larry Jones Jr.,Jonah Jones, Loyal Jones and Royal Jarrett. Sharonda is also survived by her brothers, Samuel Jarrett Jr. of Houston, Texas and Randall (Randy) Jarrett of Longview, Texas. Sisters Erma Jean Luchin of Jefferson, Texas and Sandra Patterson of Houston, Texas and a whole host of nieces, nephews and cousins who will miss her deeply.
