The one place that she worked was the Chase Bank (originally the Texas Commerce Bank) for 38 years. She started out in in the bookkeeping department, then went to the return items and then to the ACH department until she retired.
She was as avid traveler and had visited all but 6 of the United States along with Carol Hilmers, her tag along. Also, there were two trips to Canada and one included going to Niagara Falls. Most of these trips were done by car, very few were done by plane. Sometimes Mary and James would come by and pick us up and we would go to Dallas of San Antonio just to eat lunch and then return home. Then there were the short road trips after Church, just to be traveling.

Sharyn was my dear friend, my soulmate, and my sister-in-Christ. Her sense of humor was contagious and she could make you laugh. She loved to eat and we shared many meals together. I loved her and there's a piece missing in my heart. RIP Sweet Sharyn. I'll see you again.

Sharyn was one of the sweetest ladies that I knew. I am so thankful my husband Larry and I got to see her two weeks before her passing. Although she probably didn't recognize us we spent quality time with her and that was a blessing. You can now rest in peace my dear friend and your humming will be a joyful noice in heaven just as it was here on earth.
