Shirley Wanda Martin Reed, of Houston, TX passed away on July 27, 2014. She was born in Dialville, TX on September 25, 1925. Shirley graduated from John H. Reagan High School in Houston, TX. She was married to Robert Hugh (Bobby) Reed, Sr. on May 29, 1943. Shirley had a career with the Dow Chemical Company in Freeport, TX that lasted 29 years. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hugh (Bobby) Reed, Sr. and son, Robert Hugh (Bobby) Reed, Jr. She is survived by son, Bruce Wayne Reed and wife, Margaret; daughter, Sherry Reed Baker and husband, Lloyd; daughter-in-law, Hollis Jan Reed; sister, Dania Marie Fisher; grandchildren, Courtney Cecile Theriot (Charles); Blair Elizabeth Milton (Kevin); Robert Brent Reed (Jaclyn); Christopher Lane Reed (Meagan); Reagan Renee Brenner (Lonnie); and Rylan Robert Reed; and great-grandchildren, Taylor Emma Theriot, Tatum Aubrey Theriot, Kadence Elizabeth Milton, Easton Kohl Brenner, Reed Elyse Brenner. Shirley is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 4, 2014 at 10am at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home in the Main Chapel.
