

Ms. Shirley Ann Hordge Wagner was born on June 6, 1945 in Houston, Texas.
She was educated in the Houston Independent School District and was a proud alumnus of Phillis Wheatley High School. She professed Christ at an early age and lived her life letting her light shine on others.
Shirley had a long, successful career in payroll. She worked at MHMRA for 30 + years until she retired. Shirley loved spending time with her family and vacationing. Shirley was loved by many, and she will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David Sr. and Eula Mae (Hordge) Skillerns. One sister, Dorothy Wolridge, and four brothers, Emmet, David, and Daniel Hordge, and Joe (Butch) Skillerns.
She leaves to cherish her memories: One sister, Mary Ella Hordge; two daughters, Tracey (Trey) Phillips and Angelique (Morris Jr.) Harmon, six grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
