

Silvano was born to Faustino Aguirre Benavides and Aurelia Gonzalez, March 26, 1935, Hidalgo los Ramones, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. He was married for 63 years to his loving wife Elida Zamora de Aguirre, they married on April 1959, and they lived together in Houston, Texas. Together they raised seven children.
He is survived by his children; Elsa Aguirre, Silvano Aguirre (Orfelinda), Armando Aguirre (Erika), Elida Martinez (Leonardo), Flor del Carmen Aguirre, Jesús Alberto Aguirre(Martha Magdalena), Isabel Gutierrez (Juan Omar); He was the beloved grandfather to twenty-three grandchildren and great-grandfather to thirty-two.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Faustino Aguirre Benavides and Aurelia Gonzalez, siblings; Sandalia, Santiago, Faustina, Senobio, Carmen, Guadalupe, and Evelia, grandchildren; Alfonso, Mario, Juan Martin.
Silvano was a strong father and a caring husband. He was loved by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him. He loved life and fought to the end to stay with his family and not leave his wife of 63 years.
He was known for his smile and everywhere he went he would make a friend and would hold long conversations about life.
He loved his wife, children, grandchildren and he loved his nieces and nephews as if they were his own children.
He was a Faithful, Family oriented man that always put others before him. He had passion for mining and agriculture, he would always say “vamonos a la mina y al rancho” let’s go to mine and the ranch.
Silvano will be remembered as a great man with a huge heart. He impacted the lives of many and has given us a great example of how to live life and be kind to others.
A visitation for Silvano will be held Friday, December 30, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. A funeral service will occur Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 2:00 PM. A committal service will occur Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
