Socorro Lara Tristan was born April 22, 1928 in Addicks, Texas. Socorro passed away on Saturday, April 2nd. She was an active member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Altar and Rosary Society, Holy Name Society and the Catholic Daughters Court Mother of Unity 2292. Socorro was preceded in death by her husband Bruno Tristan and brothers Manuel, Guadalupe and Angel Lara. She is survived by her 6 children; Bruno Tristan Jr., Alice Sanchez, Angel Tristan, Eugene Tristan, Veronica Garcia and David Tristan; her brother Richard Rodriguez; 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Socorro was whole heartedly devoted to her Catholic faith, her family and her friends. She will be missed greatly. A visitation at Forest Park Lawndale will be held on Monday, April 4, 2011 from 5-9PM. Rosary will Begin at 7PM. Funeral service will be at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 10727 Hartsook St., Houston TX. 77034 on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at 12PM with interment to follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery
