Sophie Padron Castro was born December 29th, 1949, and went to be with the Lord on December 30th, 2023, at the age of 74. Sophie was born to Frank and Alicia Padron, Sr. in Houston, TX. She was 8 of 9 kids being the baby of the girls. Sophie grew up on the North Side of Houston with her parents and 8 siblings. Sophie is survived by her husband Raynaldo Castro, Sr., son Anthony Perez, Jr., daughters Rachel Nino (Ralph), Rebecca Ramos, Sophia A. Garcia (Luis), son Raymond Castro (Sylvia) and fur baby, Fats. Sophie has 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Sophie is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Alicia Padron, Sr., sisters Frances Segovia and Juanita Alba, brother Frank Padron, Jr., children Raynaldo Castro, Jr. and Patrick Ronald Perez and granddaughter Raelynn Marie Castro.
A visitation for Sophie will be held Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A funeral service will occur Friday, January 12, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A graveside service will occur Friday, January 12, 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060.
