She was born in Houston, TX on August 5, 1970 to Carol Moseley Dyess and Michael Alan Dyess.
Stacia was raised in the Woodlands where she made many life-long friends. She attended and graduated from Oak Ridge High School and then received her undergraduate degree from the University of St Thomas in Houston. After she moved to California, she completed her education by receiving a Masters Degree from the California Institute of the Arts.
She loved California and spent much of her adult life living there pursuing her writing career as well as teaching at the college level. She eventually relocated back to Texas after the death of her brother to be close to her family. She continued her career in teaching & tutoring English and she practiced and taught yoga and meditation. Stacia had many talents that included Executive Administration with MGM Studios and Screen Writing. She was also an avid horse woman from a young age, specifically in Dressage. Stacia loved all her horses but had a special bond with Charmer Mac. But, most of all she loved being a mother to her daughter Bethany.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Carol Moseley Dyess, her father Michael Alan Dyess and her brother that we all knew as Bubba.
She is survived by her much loved and precious daughter, Bethany Jolie Hammond, Aunts Tammie Bryde Donatelli, Dr. Susan Denson, Carlee Klam. And many other family members that she dearly loved.
