Stella Blue passed away at her home of many years, Village on the Park, in Friendswood, TX on December 9, 2014.
Stella was born April 22, 1923 in Nacogdoches, TX to Marvin and Kathryn (Page) Blalock. She attended schools in Houston and graduated from Milby High School in 1940, where she met the love of her life, Harley Blue.
Harley and Stella were wed in San Diego, CA in 1941. Harley returned from WWII to run E.M. Blue's Sons wire rope company on Wayside with his father and brothers. Stella worked in the office for many years.
Stella is preceded in death by her husband Harley and daughter Kathryn Seaman. She is survived by her daughters Marsha Blue (husband John Laird) and Rebecca Yeater (husband Richard Yeater), grandchildren Russell Lewis, Beth Lewis, Lloyd Seaman, Suzanne Seaman, Natalie Taylor, Harley Rady and Sara Yeater, as well as great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and numerous friends and family.
The family would like to thank her longtime caregiver, Jackie Jeane, for the compassionate and loving care she provided to Stella.
Visitation will be held at Forest Park Lawndale 5:00 – 7:00 pm on Friday 12/12 with Services at 2:00 pm on Sat. 12/13.
