Steven Barragan, 61, of Houston, Texas, passed away on June 25, 2024. He was born on November 22, 1962, in Houston, Texas, to Raymond C. Barragan and Beatrice Lozolla Barragan. Steven left high school early to enlist in the Marines, driven by his commitment to provide for his family.
In 1982, Steven married Gloria Rosas, and they made their home together in Houston, Texas. They raised two daughters, Sabrina and Sofia.
Steven worked in various roles in construction and electrical jobs throughout his career.
He is survived by his daughters Sabrina and Sofia, his sister Belinda and his brothers Raymond, Eugene, and Roman, 8 grandchildren, five nieces, and four nephews. He was preceded in death by parents Raymond C. Barragan and Beatrice Lozolla Barragan.
Steven Barragan will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his service to his country, and his hard work in his profession.
A visitation for Steven will be held Sunday, June 30, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. A funeral service will occur Monday, July 1, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, with a committal to follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
