Susan was born on July 10, 1958 in Long Beach California to Robert and Marlene Powell.
Susan and her family moved to Houston in 1973. She attended Memorial High School and was a proud graduate of the University of Texas. She loved baseball, football and NASCAR. Her needlepoint skills were works of art.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents and sister Nancy. She is survived by her husband of 33 years David. Daughter Rebecca, her husband Chris and the Light of her Life granddaughter, Mackenzie Grace. As well as cousins and friends.
Visitation began at 10:00 a.m with services starting at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Waltrip Funeral Directors in Houston, Texas. Burial followed at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, also in Houston.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts in memory of Susan Magee be made to the Nancy Anne Powell ’83 Memorial Scholarship, 400/34465 and mailed to Texas A&M Foundation, 401 George Bush Dr, College Station, TX 77840.
