Sincere condolences to Martha and all of Susan's loved ones. It's been over four years and I am just now learning of Susan's passing. I was deeply saddened. My memory goes back to 1962 when I lived in First Ward, & in later years, our families were connected: My sister's stepson, Jesse Diaz, Jr., & my first cousins, the del Toro's. Blessings to all.

I think about you every second of every minute of every hour of every day....I will love you till my dying breath and be thankful that God gave me you as my mother.  You were not only my mother, but my best friend.  I hope I can follow the wonderful example you set for me and be just as good a mother to my own children.

I'm so blessed to have had you in my life. Knowing that you were always there when I needed you in life and now in spirit is a blessing. My father, Grandpa, and Uncle Danny have you in their arms to welcome you home. There aren't too many words to express the love felt for you Susan. You were the glue that held the family together growing up. I met you when I was 17 and though I had to go my separate way, I never stopped loving you and  always grateful to you for the love you showed me and my children. Sometimes things don't always go as one plans, but the one thing that never changed is the love and respect I have for you. My heart goes out to your family. I pray that they will find comfort with all the beautiful memories you embedded in their hearts. Susie,
I will miss you more than I can express. You were more than a sister-in-law to me. I was only 7 when you started dating my  brother And I thought of you like a big sister. I have so many good memories and will cherish all of them. I love you rest in peace.

Sometimes people come into our lives for a season, it may be a short or long season but it matters not the amount of time that one knows another person but the imprint that they left in your heart. In the short time you were in my life you left such a deep imprint in my heart that I will carry with me for a lifetime. You were a person of such noble character and wisdom with a heart filled with so much love for others in the likeness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 

You had a true heart of a servant, always strong and with much dignity.  Susie, you will be truly missed and I thank God for the true blessing of allowing us to cross paths in this lifetime and look forward to spending eternity with you. I will forever love you.

Dear Susie,
I am so very blessed to have had you in my life. I did not know what a wonderful experience that I was going to have when Bertha Josey sent me to your team. I loved all of your wonderful stories and discussions we had. You made me laugh and smile so much. You also were such a rock when I needed someone to talk to.  And we cannot forget all of the food you fed us after you found out I kept forgetting to eat breakfast. You fed the body and soul. I know you are with all of your loved ones. Now, somehow, we will have to make our ways without you.  Thank you so much.
