Ted G. Salinas, age 85, passed away peacefully from the loving arms of his family into the open arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and all of the holiness of the heavens who have awaited his arrival. Born on January 11, 1928, Ted was a gentle man with deep faith in God. Preceded in death by sons, Larry, Gary, and Michael Salinas. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 66 years, Betty Jo; eldest son, Teddy and wife Patrice; son, Mark Salinas; brother, Rufus and wife Cherry; grandchildren, Christopher Salinas and wife Courtney, Chris Demar, Townes Salinas, and Michael Salinas; 2 great-grandchildren, Sally and Finn Salinas; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 2131 Lauder Rd. The Rite of Committal will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery
