I have so many beautiful memories of dear sweet friend Marie.  Good times Clarence and I had with both Jack and Marie at Atascocita UMC, and other events, the last one when we were overnight guests in their home on our visit back to Atascocita .  Marie, always so gracious and joyful.  The Beezley family are I my prayers.

I have a fun connection with Ms.  Marie.  I am a 1991 graduate of Aldine High School.  Fast forward 15 years, I go on a women's retreat with my church (Atascocita UMC) and am paired with a sweet little woman. The first night was a pajama party.  When I saw Marie, I just started laughing -- we were wearing the very same pajamas!  I couldn't shake the fact that I knew her.  We start talking, and she tells me about being a school bookkeeper.  When I ask which school. . .WOW were we surprised!  During my family's time at AUMC, I loved any time I could spend with Marie and Jack.  I admired their marriage and pretty much everything about them.  We moved to North Texas several years back, but I remain on email lists for AUMC.  I was so saddened to hear of Marie's passing.  May Jack and the family find comfort in the wonderful memories and peace in the love of God.  Sending much love!

Marie was the sweetest woman we ever met.  She will be greatly missed, but waiting for us with our Lord.

We will miss Marie. She was so lovely and faithful. It has always been a joy to see Marie Sunday mornings with Jack in the Open Door Seekers Sunday School class. Jack always had a joke or story and Marie would just smile and shake her head. I feel we were blessed to know Marie and I’m happy she’s enjoying her heavenly home with our Lord and Savior. 

Marie was a very special lady and we all will miss her. 

We loved Marie and are very thankful to have had her and Jack’s friendship!  We will miss her and her sweet ways and pray Jack will feel God’s  love and comfort.

Marie was a dear and trusted friend and the most competent bookkeeper I've ever met. Our offices at Aldine High School  were next door to each other for decades. When my children called me, she would find me no matter where I was. She was the best friend a woman could have had.

Dear Jack, Mike, Bill and all the extended family, 

Connie and I look back on our years at Aldine Sr. as some of the best. It was truly a family atmosphere. Marie was such an integral part of that Aldine Sr. family.  Yes, she was tight with the books. Everyone who dealt with money found that out, and it only took making an error once for you to make sure your accounting was accurate from then on. So much more than keeping the books, Marie was a gracious, kind , a considerate friend, and co-worker.  Some of you remember that Connie was a science teacher and the drill team director. She grew to appreciate Marie's attentiveness to the funds and her patience with dealing with someone who didn't have a clue what she was doing with $! I got to know Marie as part of Vernon's administrative team. When Vernon says, no one got to his office without going through Marie first, he is telling the truth. She was the guardian. We all loved Marie, not just for her excellent work, but as part of the Aldine Sr. family. We also loved going to Airline Methodist with all of you!  Jack, Mike and Bill, you have our deepest sympathies for your loss. We know you will miss her greatly.  Pat and Connie

Dearest Jack and Family,

How sorry I feel for your loss of a wonderful,precious wife , mother and grandmother and our friend.  What dear friends  you have been for all of these many years.  Too many great memories to attempt to select just one to share.  Just know that our family loves each one of you in a very special way - more like family than friend.  How devastated we are that one or more of us will not be able to attend Marie's service.  Another serious fall has immobilized me for right now, but I definitely am praying for you and will continue to do so.    With much love for each of you, Jody  

Marie was a beloved member of the Open Door-Seekers adult Sunday School class at Atascocita United Methodist Church. She always had a  smile and kind word for everyone. When we had a class get-together, or game night, we all looked forward to the chocolate covered peanuts and the chocolate Oreo balls that Marie brought.
Every time Marie learned that Tom and I were going to leave town, she would send Jack to our door with a big bag of her home-made candy for us to eat on the way. We loved her and her sweet and patient ways. We will miss her so much.

Ms. Marie was a lady that knew  what she wanted and went after it. She taught me how to organize money so I would not waste time. I enjoyed our days together at Aldine High School.

Marie was not only a colleague but a close friend. She sat outside my office for nine years and was my protector. No one and I mean no one got to me without going through Marie. She was so conscientious as the keeper of the financial records of Aldine Senior ... one night she called me at home worried that she was two cents out of balance but that was Marie!  She loved the Mustang football team and she and Jack rarely missed a game.  Her two sons were the light of her life and as they married and had children that light shone brighter!  The Aldine family sends their love to the family and expresses our heart felt sympathy on your passing.

It is always hard to lose a colleague. It is even harder to lose a friend. The hardest is to lose family. When that one is all three, the hurt is the worst. Marie was part of my Aldine family, and will be in my last thoughts. She was truly one of the most genuinely caring, sharing, and loving people I have ever known. The prayers are being said for all who knew and will miss her. Godspeed, Marie.

No one can think about Aldine High School during the decades Marie was there without seeing her as one of the key folks who made everything work.  She was always so friendly, always helpful, always so efficient. She touched every aspect as she so efficiently and tightly held on to those purse strings --smiling sweetly as she made teachers and administrators alike toe the mark!  She will so greatly missed and she will never be forgotten.

Marie was a beautiful lady inside and out!  I have fond memories of Marie, my mom and the ladies in the woman’s group from Airline sharing stories and laughter.  Prayers to the family. 

Marie was a loving woman who adored her family. She was so kind and had the best sense of humor!  She will be missed!

Don't remember how old I was when I first met Marie and Jack,  it was Easter at Reid Memorial UM.  They were an inspiration to me for many years.  Great friends of my parents and friends to me as a adult at Airline UM.  Marie was always so sweet and caring.  It was great to see them thru the years.  Love to Jack, Bill and Mike. Marie was a kind and loving lady. Whenever she entered a room, she always had a smile and something good to say! We will miss her at our Goodtimers gatherings. We are praying for Jack and their family. May God give you peace and comfort.

Marie was such a large part of my development growing up.  I will always cherish the time we shared together as a family.  Aunt Marie was the best and she will be missed.

What a beautiful woman Marie was! She was a model of aging with grace, continuing in service,  and covering everything with love. And her care of the staff at AUMC with cookies and goodies every week. Well done good and faithful servant. May all who live her know God’s comfort.

What a very special aunt Marie was!  My childhood  filled with such beautiful memories of our get-togethers in Houston.  She will be missed!

Aunt Ree, my favorite aunt, my Dad's sister, a loving person in so many ways who always made me feel very special. In 2001 my husband Jack was dying with cancer. Once a week for 6 months I received an encouraging card in the mail from Aunt Ree to lift my spirits. I will forever hold that memory of her loving nature.❤
