Theresa Christine Baranowski Hoffart was born January 11, 1930 in Richards, Texas to Michael and Mary Francis Ubanoski Baranowski. Theresa left the family farm when she fifteen to work in downtown Houston.
During her younger years, she worked for various companies in Houston
Theresa meet the LOVE of her life Martin Jack Hoffart from Dobbin, Texas around 1945 while attending a dance with two of her older Brothers.
Theresa and Martin were married on June 4th 1947 in Richards, Texas
Through her years, Theresa enjoyed bowling with several different bowling leagues. She loved cooking and baking for all to enjoy. She became a self taught seamstress, sewing clothes for her family, and anyone else that wanted something special, baby blankets for all the nieces and nephews, quilts, afghans, piezynas, even beautiful pictures made from material.
Theresa also loved to paint, leaving behind many Beautiful paintings for her family. She had a real passion for cultivating the most awesome plants, flowers and vegetable gardens. In the 1980’s Theresa opened up her own flower and gift shop with the help of her children and nephews.
Theresa was a dedicated member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Knights of Columbus council #2917 for many years.
Theresa served as Eucharist Minister in several Catholic Churches and was a devoted, faithful daughter to Our Lord.
Theresa and Martin left behind a legacy of Love, Faith and Happiness for their 4 Children, 8 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren, and 3 Great, Great Grandchildren who they Loved and Cherished.
