Theresa Vera Malinowski

Theresa Vera Malinowski, 97, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018. She was born January 6, 1921 in Navasota, TX to parents, Mary & Stephen Phillips. Theresa was active at St. Anne de Beaupre Catholic Church where she was a long time choir member. She was in the St. Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary, the St. Vincent Society, Senior Club, and Alter Society. Theresa is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Joe Malinowski. She is survived by her children, Doris Newby, Richard Malinowski, Debra Therrell (Bob), and Terri Margolis (Nathan); grandchildren, Casey Newby, and Tessa Rowland (Joe); great-grandchild, Jax Rowland. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 5-8 PM at Heights Funeral Home, with the Rosary being recited at 7 PM. The Funeral Mass will be conducted the following morning at 11 AM at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery in Chappell Hill, TX.

Theresa was a faithful member of Saint Anne DeBeaupre Catholic Church for many years. Her devoted dedication to the Church as a faithful Servant will be missed. Teresa dedicated her services as a Choir member, she was also a member of the KPC Ladies Auxiliary Court #101. Her loyalty to the Church was outstanding. We will truly miss her kindness an sweet personality.

Theresa was always very sweet to me both when I would come by to pick up her oldest daughter, Doris, (with whom I've been friends almost 50 years) and well into late in her life on my occasional visit. Rest in Peace sweet Theresa.

Mrs. Malinowski was the mother of my best friend Terri her youngest daughter. Mrs. Malinowski was always so kind and welcoming to me. I feel blessed to have known her and to have met her daughter .
