Therese A. McDonald

Therese “Terry” A. Olsen McDonald, 99, of Brenham, passed away on December 8, 2011. She was born on January 21, 1912 to Ashley Olsen and Gertrude Heen Olsen in LuVerne, Minnesota. Therese was a person of deep faith, having been a member of the Lutheran church. She read her bible on a daily basis and was quite learned on various chapters and verses. Therese is survived by her daughter-in-law Shirleen Sustala McDonald of Washington, TX; her daughter Janet McDonald and son-in-law Francis Fournier of Austin, TX; grandson Brian McDonald and wife, Alisa of College Station; granddaughter Shannon McDonald Stein and husband Eddie Stein of Houston; and 4 great grandchildren, Brenna and Shelby McDonald; Taylor and Faith Stein; and numerous nieces and nephews living in California, North Carolina and Washington state. Therese was preceded in death by her husband, Grant, and son, Bruce; parents Ashley and Gertrude Olsen; brothers Ole, Norman and Alfred; sisters Greta and Billie.Visitation will be held Monday, December 12, 2011 from 11 AM until 12 PM at Heights Funeral Home in Houston, TX. A funeral service will begin at 12 PM, with a graveside service to follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston. Serving as Pallbearers: Michael Williamson, Kevan Riebschlaeger, Mark Williamson, David Williamson, Brian McDonald and Eddie Stein.
