Thomas Minton Burchfield, born June 13, 1922 to George and Sarah Burchfield in Rusk, Texas, passed away June 10, 2011 in Houston. Mr. Burchfield is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years, Pauline Burchfield; children, T. Paul Burchfield and wife, Yvonne, Randy Burchfield and wife, Nancy, and Janelle Wagner; grandchildren, Shelli, Jeff, Dana, Janie, Jenny, Crystal, and Drue; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Jo Nell Ross and Inez Parker, and numerous other family.
Mr. Burchfield served his country proudly in the Army during WWII. He was a mechanic for Knapp Chevrolet for 41 years.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, June 12, 2011 at Heights Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2011 in the Chapel of Heights Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Garden of Memories, Houston, Texas.
