On August 25, 1967, a baby boy was born, he was given the name Thomas Elisha Ervin. He was the third child of five siblings. He attended school in Houston. He attended Bible Way Church of Holiness and the Lord saved him under te leadership of Bishop J. L.Parker. He was the manager of a day-labor rooming facility for men. He was an inspirartionand a helper to men of all ages and backgrounds. He will truly be missed. He is preceded in death by his mother and two brothers; Isaac Ervin & David Ervin, aunt; Gloria Long and grandmother; Deloris Long. He leaves to celebrate his home going, his long dad Randolph Long and his step-mother Essie Long, two brothers; Randolph Long & Eric Long, one son, one daughter, four nephews, one niece and a host of other relatives and friends.
