He was born in Houston, TX on March 21, 1983. TJ graduated from Oak Ridge High School in May 2005. TJ started attending Bridgewood Farms in July 2005 after graduation. He loved all his friends and staff at Bridgewood Farms.
TJ was a big music fan, from country to rock and roll, he loved it all. He could tell the name and singers of all songs, even band members and what instrument they played. TJ loved playing his guitar and drums and always had a songbook in his hand. He never went anywhere without one, two, or three and always had a backpack full each day going to Bridgewood Farms.
TJ loved going to church and always followed along in his missal and made sure his Mom and Dad were following along in their Mass books. He of course loved the songs in church and sang along to each one. His favorite songs were Bless be the Lord, Though the Mountains May Fall and Sing a New Song unto the Lord. He learned these at St. John Neumann Catholic Church with Patti who was the guitar player for 5:00 pm Mass on Saturday evenings. He still enjoyed going back to St. John Neumann Catholic Church to see Patti. He would always come home from Mass on Saturday evenings and watch on You-Tube St. John Neumann’s 5:00 pm Mass to see if Patti was there. Also, he watched the Heart of the Nation Mass on Sundays.
TJ loved participating in Special Olympics bowling, bocce, basketball, soccer, tennis, and track. He participated in the Special Olympics with Aldine Lightning Bolts and Bridgewood Farms. Bowling was his favorite and he loved going bowling each Wednesday with Bridgewood Farms and when he made a spare or a strike, everyone knew. He always cheered his friends on and loved when they got a spare or strike.
TJ had a passion for CDs, DVDs, and books. He loved watching movies and listening to CDs and watching music concerts on the computer. He always had the TV on CMT. Disney was a favorite and he knew all the characters and loved going to Disney World and Disneyland. Nashville was another favorite, going to the Grand Ole Opry, Country Music Museum, Dollywood, Memphis (Elvis Presley), etc. He always knew when a new CD or DVD was coming out before they were in the store and always wanted to go and purchase the day they came out.
