

Born on July 25, 1934, Tom lived a life marked by integrity, compassion, and an unwavering dedication to his faith, family, and community. He was known for his steady presence, generous spirit, and quiet strength. Tom proudly served in the United States Army and often spoke fondly of his time in the service.
In 1956, he married Dorthy Kelley, the love of his life; they remained devoted to one another until her passing in 2018. During his professional life, Tom was employed by Houston Belt and Terminal, owned and operated Snyderville Grocery Store, worked in real estate, and built Snyderville Storage. In his personal time, he enjoyed restoring antique cars, traveling, and spending time with friends and loved ones.
Tom is survived by his daughter, Connie Renfro and son-in-law Mike Renfro; his son, Kelley Snyder and daughter-in-law Edee Snyder; his grandchildren, Amanda and Harold Simmons, Marci and Wes Bacarisse, Shannon and Chris Bowman, Megan Guerra, and Jake Snyder and Sarah Albritton, Kimberly and Kyle McLeroy, Keith Cannon and Megan Briggs; and his great-grandchildren, Kasey, Emily, McKenna, Payton, Colton, Taylor, Hunter, Lucas, Beckham and dear companion Linda Morrison.
His family and friends will forever cherish the memories of shared celebrations and the enduring love that shaped their lives.

A Committal Service will be held at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023, on June 2, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
