Thomas (Tommy) Glenn Zipps March 17, 1954 – January 2, 2021

Thomas (Tommy) Glenn Zipps, 66, of Pasadena, TX passed away Saturday January 2, 2021 at Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital as a result of complications due to his battle with early onset dementia. Tommy was born in Houston, TX on March 17, 1954 to Albert and Mary Zipps. He is proceeded in death by his parents, his brother Robert Zipps and his nephew, Michael Zipps. Tommy was a force to be reckoned with! To be a part of his life was truly something special! He loved spending time with his family; especially his grandchildren, who called him Pepaw. He was passionate about music, baseball, fishing, aviation, and horticulture (he could literally grow any plant from a stick). Tommy was taken from us far too soon. He was a good man, an even better grandfather, and he will be dearly missed. He is survived by his daughter Brandi Wilson and her husband Michael, his grandchildren Jacob, Caitlyn, Cayla, and Madison, as well as his niece and nephew, Maryann & Steven Zipps. In lieu of flowers, please consider a Tribute Donation in his memory to the Alzheimer’s Association https://act.alz.org/donate

Tom was a wonderful neighbor. He always had time to stop and visit at the mailbox or wave when driving by and he was always willing to lend a helping hand. He has been greatly missed.

Sincerely,
Earl & KK Wilburn

Tom was a good friend and a great neighbor. Always willing to help out in anyway he could. From help with the AC to helping on the baseball field with the kids. We enjoyed his company when getting together with the neighbors. We have missed him on the block over the last few years. Heaven is a better place with him.
Love,
The Fleming’s
