Timothy Ray “Tim” Bryant was born in Tyler, Texas on Monday, January 26, 1948, to parents, Reverend O.L. Bryant and Mildred (Shaw) Bryant. He passed away in Houston, Texas on Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at the age of 64.
Tim graduated with a BA in Music from the University of Houston in 1973, where he was a member of the music fraternity. Tim was an accomplished pianist and organist. He became a self-employed piano tuner and was also a member of the Jubilee Banjo Band.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Carroll Bryant. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Karen J. Bryant, many other loving family members and dear friends.
Family and friends will gather for a memorial service to celebrate Tim’s life at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 10th in the sanctuary of Clay Road Baptist Church, 9151 Clay Road in Houston. Reverend Dr. Bruce Northam will officiate.
