Tommy L. Rhodes, 74, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017. Born in Gatesville Texas, he was a loving husband, father and grandfather who served as a Houston Police Officer for five years. He retired from AT&T after 30 years, and then retired from the Aldine Independent School District. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Gloria Jean Rhodes; sons, Steven L. Rhodes and wife Carla and Larry A. Rhodes and wife Brenda; grandchildren, Kellee Rhodes, Kourtnee Rhodes, Jordan Rhodes, Justin Rhodes and Jenna Rhodes; brother, Eugene Rhodes and wife Jeanie; sisters, Ruth Goddard and husband Ken and Rachel Rhodes; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 26, 2017 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77060. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 27, 2017 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
