

On March 9, 2013, we lost a great man, Tommy St. John. Devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. Tommy worked in the Oil and Gas industry in Houston, TX for over 40 years. He was well liked by all and known as a straight shooter. If you wanted to know the truth, go to Tommy. He was also the ultimate multi-tasker. Known for having a phone on each ear, cb radio in his hand and working on the computer at the same time. In his home life, Tommy was a pure family man. His wife Stella, always coming first in his life. He would take his kids hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, he made sure they knew their way outdoors. Tommy was also a Scout master for 10 years. He brought over 15 boys through the ranks of boy scout to Eagle Scout, including his son Dustin. Tommy was a great outdoorsman. He loved to hunt & fish, West Bay was a second home to him. Tommy was also a recent transplant patient. He received a new liver on September 19. He received the call on his birthday, September 18, he was so excited about this. He wanted to be able to see his grandchildren, Seth and Thomas graduate from college and get married. Tommy was known as so many things, a fighter, a huge football fan, Tommy loved the Oilers, an excellent cook and always the life of the party. Tommy was preceded in death by his mother Ernestine and his father Arthur. He has left behind his wife of 37 years, Stella. His 2 children, Dustin and Sunshine, as well as his 2 grandchildren, Seth and Thomas.
