Tootsie Fitz, passed away August 22, 2011 in Houston, TX. She was born on June 20, 1931 to Albert and Victoria Kochanowsky. Tootsie is survived by her daughter, Janet Joyce; son, Robert and wife Pat Fitz; grandchildren, Shannon Bennett, Jamie and James Garrett; great-grandchildren, Hayden Griffith and Samantha Garrett. A visitation will be held on Friday, August 26, 2011 in the Chapel of Heights Funeral Home from 5-8pm with a rosary at 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 3600 Brinkman, on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 11:30 am. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale.
