

Travis Rudolph Lee of Houston, age 87, passed away Monday, July 13, 2015 following a long illness. Born November 6, 1927 in Good Pine, Louisiana, he lived in numerous small towns in rural Louisiana in his early years. As a young adult, he moved to Houston and was a life-long resident of the city.
He is survived by his loving and caring wife of 64 years, Mary Elizabeth (Ebarb) Lee; daughter, Janice Lee of Houston, daughter Pamela Lee of Austin, Texas (and husband Jim Stelling), son Darrell Lee of Houston, daughter Karen Lee of Austin, Texas, son Darwin Lee (and wife Lisa) of Houston , Texas , son Damon Lee of Houston, Texas and five grandchildren (Beth Lee, Becky Lee, Meika Lee, Kelly Lee and Travis G. Lee).
In his early years, Mr. Lee served in the Navy and was honorably discharged. After his service, he moved to Houston where he worked in construction and business management. He met his wife, Mary Ebarb and they were married on April 7, 1951 at All Saints Church.
Mr. Lee had a passion for sports and enjoyed sharing game details with his children. He followed many teams and could quote statistics from decades. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed hunting and fishing
Visitation is Wednesday, July 15th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00p.m. A funeral service will be held Thursday July 16th at 10:00 a.m. Both visitation and funeral be held at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas.
