

Ursula M. Listi (Oma) of Point Blank, TX. passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at the age of 86. She was born in Bad Hersfeld, Germany where after spending her childhood growing up through WW-II, she finished her schooling and ended up being a Nanny for an American Service Officer and his family. They loved her so much that they sponsored her and paid to move her to Houston when they relocated back to the U.S.
Several years later she met Samuel Listi and was married at Annunciation Catholic Church in Houston, TX. They moved to the Southwest side of Houston and raised their family there until Sams death in 1993. She then relocated to Point Blank TX. where she lived the rest of her life, enjoying living on Lake Livingston and doing many activities with her great neighbors and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Sam, her parents Konrad and Anna Margarete Leister, sisters Christina, Elfreda, and Sophie.
She is survived by her sons, Tommy, John, and Robert, Daughter-in-laws Karen & Laurie, grandchildren Wayne & wife Bobbi, Michael & wife Megan, Austin & wife Krystal, Jordan & wife Taylor, Joshua & wife Kylie and Rebekah, Hannah and great grandchildren Jake, Sean, Joey, Alli, Tristen, Hunter, Peyton, Weston, Lincoln, Stella, Charlie, Mila, & Sawyer.
She is also survived by her sister Hilde Wichers and Brother-In-Law Norbert Wichers as well as numerous nieces and nephews in Germany.
The family would like to thank her friends and neighbors in Governor’s Point, especially Dee Ross, and Patsy Dornak for the huge help they provided to our mother while living in Point Blank. The family would also like to thank Karen Cook and nurses Chelsea, Callie and Angie from Elara Caring Hospice as well as Jaqueline Hobbs from Cornerstone Caregiving for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in their final days.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Christian Funeral service at Forest Park Lawndale located at 6900 Lawndale St., Houston, TX.77023 on Thursday October 8, 2026, beginning at 10 AM with Interment to follow at 11 AM.
at Forest Park Cemetery immediately following the Service.
