

Valerie Lee Clark died on February 9, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, cousin, and friend. Valerie will be missed by her family and friends, but all rejoice that she is now pain free and a citizen of heaven.
Valerie worked as a homemaker while raising her three children and when her children were young she taught Sunday School at her church. After her children were grown she worked in hotel sales and the last twenty years in medical reception for West Houston Medical Center, where she met many of her close friends.
She was a collector of cows and pigs. She was very proud of her status as a Native Texan. She enjoyed the water and for most of her life lived in coastal cities. QVC lost a very good customer when Valerie passed away.
Valerie was preceded in death by: Nann Lee (mother), Johnny (father), and John (brother). She was also preceded in death by her husbands Dale and Arthur.
Valerie is survived by her children: Wallace, Kelle (Art), and Nancee (Daniel), her grandchildren; Lauren (Steven), and Kelcee, and great-grandchildren; Kailyn and Jacob. Her faithful companion of 14 years, Petula, will miss her dearly.
There will be a memorial service to celebrate Valerie’s life on earth Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 2:00pm at First Christian Church Katy (22101 Morton Ranch Road).
