Valleria Moore Rose was born on January 28, 1935 and left to be a featured soprano in the Heavenly Choir May 3, 2018. She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Constantine John Rose, her parents Samuel Jones Moore Sr. and Valleria Mary Moore, her brothers; Sammy and Dodie. She is survived by her sons Steve and Greg, her granddaughter Loni, along with nieces Shirley Hunt, Gail Holiday and nephews; Danny Rhea Moore and Rodney Moore and numerous great nieces and nephews.
She owned five businesses and was an inspiration to everyone who crossed her path. She was beautiful outside as she was on the inside. She treated everyone as family whether they were fry cooks in one of her restaurants or John F. Kennedy and Jackie on whose campaign she worked.
Visitation will be held Monday, 5pm – 8pm, at the Heights Funeral Home. Funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, 11am at the Heights Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
