First Lady Velma Ree (Davis) Randle

At an early age, Velma accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and has since that time been active in the church. She joined Starlight Missionary Baptist Church in Houston, TX under the leadership of Pastor Clifford B. Meachum, where she served in various ministries. She later, in 2007, went to join Soldiers of the Cross Church, under the leadership of her husband, Pastory Curly Randle.

After graduating from Worthing Senior High School, she began her teaching career. Velma "Sugar" married her beloved husband, Curly Randle, on March 5, 1988. Preceding her in death is her loving mother, Thelma Alexander, father Julius Davis, brother Thetie and stepfather Mr. Jimmy Alexander.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Curly Randle, Goddaughter, Britney Turner, sons Bryon Parker, Kirk Randle, daughters Alaina and Monique, four sisters Marcella Murphy, Jackie Jackson (Warren), Patra Davis, Palencia (Joy) Davis, and two brothers Patra Davis, Julia Davis, brother-in-law George Jackson, sister-in-aw, Sue Jackson (Late Sam Jackson) and Kenny Ray as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones.
